A tragic motor vehicle collision in London’s east end has claimed the life of one person, according to the London Police Service. The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Gore Road on Sunday evening.

Emergency crews responded to the serious collision involving two motor vehicles at approximately 7:00 p.m. on October 5, 2025. According to the London Fire Department, all occupants were out of their vehicles upon arrival and no extrication was required. A male passenger from one of the vehicles was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries but sadly succumbed to those injuries.
The driver of the same vehicle was also transported to hospital with minor injuries. Both the male driver and passenger of the second vehicle involved in the crash were taken to hospital with minor injuries as well.

The intersection was temporarily closed while investigators processed the scene and collected evidence. Veterans Memorial Parkway southbound was closed from Trafalgar to Gore Road and Gore Road was closed between Veterans Memorial Parkway and Marconi gate. The London Police Service confirmed the intersection reopened after investigators completed their work at the scene.
Police are actively seeking witnesses and any available footage from the time of the collision. Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 7:00 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. and may have witnessed the collision to come forward. They’re also looking for dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage that might help with the investigation. The London Police Service deployed a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) in the area to assist with the ongoing investigation.
The investigation has now been reassigned to the London Police Service Road Safety Section and remains ongoing.
