A serious motor vehicle collision in London’s east end early Saturday morning has left eight people injured, with three fighting for their lives in hospital.

According to the London Police Service, emergency crews responded to the collision at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Trafalgar Street at Condor Court. The crash involved two motor vehicles and resulted in multiple casualties requiring immediate medical attention.

Of the eight individuals involved in the collision, three were transported to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries, while four others were taken to hospital with minor injuries. One person involved in the crash was uninjured.

The intersection of Trafalgar Street and Condor Court was temporarily closed as investigators processed the scene and collected evidence. All vehicles involved in the collision remained at the scene for investigation purposes.

The London Police Service Road Safety Section has taken over the investigation, which remains ongoing. The specialized unit handles serious traffic incidents and works to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding collisions of this nature.

Police are actively seeking witnesses and any available footage from the time of the incident. Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 3:20 a.m. and 3:40 a.m. and may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Authorities are also requesting dashcam footage, residential surveillance video, or business security camera footage that may have captured the incident or the moments leading up to it. This type of evidence often proves crucial in understanding how serious collisions occur.

The early morning timing of the collision means there may have been fewer witnesses on the road, making any available footage or eyewitness accounts particularly valuable to the investigation.

Anyone with information related to this incident can contact the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Information can also be submitted online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.

The collision highlights the ongoing concerns about road safety in London, particularly during early morning hours when visibility and road conditions can be challenging factors for drivers.

The investigation by the Road Safety Section will examine all aspects of the collision, including vehicle speeds, road conditions, driver behaviour, and any other contributing factors that may have led to this serious incident involving multiple casualties.
