A structure fire broke out early Tuesday morning at a townhouse complex on Jalna Boulevard in south London.
London Fire Department responded to the active incident at 1095 Jalna Boulevard, where smoke was initially reported in the upstairs portion of a townhouse.
According to updates from the London Fire Department, the situation escalated quickly, prompting officials to dispatch two additional engines to the scene. Firefighters encountered heavy heat and smoke conditions in the attic of the residence.
Fire crews applied fire suppression agent to combat the blaze. Despite these efforts, the fire intensified, with heavy flames eventually visible through the front window on the second floor of the townhouse.
