Road Safety Officers will be stationed at high-volume areas throughout London, keeping their eyes peeled for any crosswalk violations. While they’ll be focusing on education first, they’ve made it clear they’re not afraid to hand out tickets when necessary.

This isn’t just a random selection of locations, either. The police have teamed up with the City of London to identify the most problematic crossings — specifically targeting areas with the highest number of complaints and recent collisions.
