Central Secondary School was advised to shelter in place and shut off its HVAC system. The City also advised an apartment building behind City Hall to shelter in place. The underground parking area for that apartment building was declared out of bounds until the leak is capped.

As of later in the day, the shelter in place order for Central secondary school has been lifted. City Hall staff are aware of the incident but say it is business as usual at City Hall.
