A shooting in north London has left three men hospitalized with gunshot wounds after an incident that unfolded in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to the London Police Service, emergency crews first responded to a home in the 700-block of Adelaide Street North at approximately 5:45 a.m. on October 19, 2025, after reports of a man being shot. Officers found the injured man and provided emergency first aid before paramedics transported him to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Just five minutes later, around 5:50 a.m., hospital staff contacted police to report that two additional adult males had arrived at the emergency room with gunshot wounds. One of these men sustained critical injuries, while the other suffered serious but non-life-threatening wounds. Both men were dropped off at the hospital by separate vehicles.

Of the three injured males, two are London residents and one is from Oshawa. Police investigators believe all three were wounded in a single incident that occurred in the area of Adelaide Street North and Piccadilly Street.

The situation escalated when suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, prompting a police pursuit from the shooting location to the area of Boullee Street and Cheapside Street. While officers successfully located and recovered the suspect vehicle, it was empty when found. A search of the surrounding area yielded no results, and the vehicle’s occupants remain at large.

The London Police Service Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation, which remains in its early stages. Investigators are actively seeking assistance from the public, particularly anyone who may have been in the area during the critical timeframe.

Police are specifically requesting dash-cam, residential, or business video surveillance footage from two key areas and time periods. The first is the Adelaide Street North and Piccadilly Street area between 5:20 and 6:00 a.m. on October 19. The second area of interest is Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road during the same timeframe.

Additionally, authorities are seeking any information or video evidence from the Boullee Street and Cheapside Street area between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., where the police pursuit concluded.

The shooting represents another incident of gun violence in London, prompting police to emphasize their commitment to community safety through proactive crime prevention, partnerships, and thorough investigations. The London Police Service stressed that keeping the city safe is a shared responsibility and encouraged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity promptly.

This incident adds to ongoing concerns about gun violence in the city, with police highlighting the crucial role that community assistance plays in preventing crime and ensuring neighbourhood safety. The investigation continues as authorities work to identify and apprehend those responsible for the shooting.
